These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any purchase of artwork, prints, commissions, or related products or services offered by Richard J Hunt – Artist (“I”, “me”, or “my”).
By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must stop using the website.

4. Products & Artwork

4.1 Description

I make every effort to accurately display colours, dimensions, and details of my artwork.
However, variations may occur due to screen settings, materials, or the hand-made nature of original art.

4.2 Availability

All items are subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, I will notify you and provide a refund.

5. Prices & Payment

5.1 Prices

All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without notice, but orders already placed will not be affected.

5.2 Payment

Accepted payment methods include:

6. Orders

I reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at my discretion, including due to suspected fraud or misuse.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Delays caused by postal services or customs are outside my control.

7.4 Import Duties & Taxes

Customers outside the UK are responsible for any import duties, customs charges, taxes, or handling fees applied by their own country’s customs authority. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fees.

If the buyer refuses to pay the required import duty or tax, and the parcel is returned or rejected by customs, the order will not be eligible for a refund. Artwork cannot be returned for a refund on the basis of unpaid import charges.

7.5 Risk & Ownership

Ownership passes to you once full payment is received.
Risk (loss or damage) transfers upon delivery.

8. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

I comply with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

8.1 Right to Cancel (Non-Commissioned Orders)

For non-custom items, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order.
You must notify me in writing and return the item in unused condition.
You will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

Exceptions:

Digital downloads
Sale items (optional—your choice)
Items damaged through customer handling
Returns caused by refusal to pay import duties (non-refundable as stated in Section 7.4)

8.2 Returns

You are responsible for return postage unless the item was faulty.
A tracked service is recommended.

8.3 Faulty or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, contact me within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and item.
You may be eligible for a replacement or refund.

9. Commissions (Custom Artwork)

9.1 Process

Commissioned work involves discussion of requirements, pricing, and timelines before payment.
I may require a non-refundable deposit of [e.g., 25%–50%].

9.2 Cancellations

Once work on a commission has begun, cancellations are not be possible, and deposits will not be refunded.

9.3 Final Artwork

I make every effort to meet your expectations; however, due to artistic interpretation, the final result may differ from draft concepts.
Refunds for dissatisfaction are not offered unless agreed otherwise.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 Copyright

All artwork, images, and materials on this website remain the copyright of Richard J Hunt – Artist unless explicitly transferred in writing.

10.2 Usage Rights

When you purchase an artwork, you own the physical item—not the copyright.
You may not reproduce, copy, or resell the artwork without permission.

10.3 Website Content

All website content (text, logos, photos) is protected by copyright and must not be copied or redistributed without consent.

11. Website Use

You agree not to:

Use the website for unlawful purposes
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site
Copy or scrape website content without permission
Interfere with the site’s functionality

I reserve the right to restrict or remove access for misuse.

I am not responsible for delays or failure to fulfil obligations caused by events beyond my control, such as natural disasters, postal strikes, or pandemics.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

I may update these Terms from time to time.
